Got my Climate Town hats and love them! I do wish there were an option with a bit more of a natural baseball cap structure/shape, but I get that may be hard to do without using plastic, etc.

Do you agree that NetZero is unnecessary, technologically unattainable, economically unviable and extremely foolish.

Net zero doesn't necessary mean zero oil, gas or coal emissions. I think this is a great video about this topic, let me know what you think about it. And it is technologically attainable and economically feasible. I think how we use our ressources today won't be good for the economy in the long run. Its just a waste of primal energy.

It’s a good presentation and well worth listening too.... but the takeaway for me is deciding if NetZero is unnecessary, technologically unattainable, economically unviable and extremely foolish.

Unnecessary, …. Huge arguments that CO2 is not a concern… so far the sensible vote is its not a concern.

Technologically unattainable, …. The supply chain for Renewables is very unattainable in the timeframes being suggested and far more environmentally damaging than fossil fuels.

Economically unviable …. We have far more important things to focus on and prosperity must come first.. or we wont be able to afford the above. that

And extremely foolish….. Until everybody follows the plan we will be just be gullible global boy scouts .. No thanks.

I suppose if we want to go electrified it got to be nuclear and forget W&S

Even large scale transportation could be nuclearized.

Green hydrogen using excess off peak nuclear for industry has merit.
